just got the basic meshes for the core room into the game engine. some flipping seems to have happened to some of the meshes, but im sure i can solve that pretty easily. anyway, enjoy!

AOM Character designs



Ok, just a few concept sketches for the AOM characters. originally i was looking at some kind of combat armour in a similar vein to that worn by characters like the Master Chief in the Halo series, however, looking at the idea again i have decided to go with a slightly different design. Rather than players wearing the suits like any other peice of clothing, these EndoSuits are much more advanced. players are custom fitted with these heavy duty powered combat suits, which use powered servos for articulation. the end result is a oversized battlehardy suit with elongated arms, and no visible head component.

Misian Ship Design


Just a quick post of the conceptual 3d model of the Misian Captial ship 'Megalith' that ricks working on. final model may well be a new mesh as some extensive redesigns to the hangar engines,and scaling issues are being delt with.

Project Update (07/11/07)

WE'RE BACK!



Hey all,
well over the last couple of months a lot of work has been done on the physical side of the project. with the release of Crysis SP Demo, and the Sandbox2 editor along with it, we have been able to start importing assets into the engine and seeing how they work.

At this point we have been able to get basic meshes of both capital ships into a zero gravity enviroment. more info and pictures to follow.
